Christmas 2009 in Lucca  

Lucca, as happens every year dresses up and prepares to live the Christmas period with many initiatives that enliven the city and bring the focus of the whole territory.

The lights, the decorations, the ice rink, the rides, markets and participation of dealers who, with their display cases, contribute to the festive atmosphere. 

From Saturday, December 5th, to tradition, the City of Lucca has inaugurated: 

• the ice rink in the square Napoleon has become a tradition that Lucca is well known. 20 x 30 meter area equipped with all safety requirements and where you can rent skates by the appropriate payment of an entrance equal to Euro 6.00, which allows its use for 1 hour.

• Christmas market in Piazza S. Michael, a traditional event, which sits on 1300 square meters of the churchyard where you have 53 operators from 9.00 until 20.00 each day until 6 January offer their wares from clothing and footwear, underwear and lingerie , from gluttony to typical products, toys, Christmas items to decorate the tree and Nativity scene, to the household goods and articles for a more original gift to find under the tree with relatives and friends.
